Yin Zhaoyang
1970~
‘Utopia’ is the last myth of Yin Zhaoyang’s youth dream designed by himself. His painting ‘Utopia’ was originally to express the special atmosphere of his presence on the Tiananmen Tower, but becomes a confession of the past. The unconsciousness was suppressing the atmosphere of history at the bottom.. In his painting, the scattering crowed, as those appeared in his life theater, converged into a mob. They cannot see the whole existence because they are not in the perspective of the audience and unable to be aware that the center of the myth is invisibly attracting them to gathering in the center of the square. The shaking images of the light from unknown directions and the surrounded mob all strongly imply that the climax of the dream is approaching.
